Why Nova exists

Public sector deserves better than enterprise leftovers.

Public sector IT teams keep being handed enterprise ITSM tools built for somebody else: priced for headcounts they don’t have, shaped around workflows they were never meant to fit, and sold with a rollout that eats the better part of two years. The pattern repeats: a council pays for hundreds of named-user licences when only twelve people actually resolve tickets. A trust waits eighteen months for a consultant-led rollout. A housing team can’t get a straight answer about where their tenant data is hosted. So we built Nova ITSM. Priced per agent, never per user. UK-hosted by default. ITIL-aligned out of the box. Live in weeks, not quarters. Built for the way public sector IT actually works. We’re early. Nova Lite ships now, with Professional and Enterprise following in 2026. If that sounds like something your team could use, we’d like to hear from you.

What we believe

Three principles. No exceptions.

Nova exists because we think the ITSM market has settled into bad habits. These are the three we refuse to inherit.

No. 01

We refuse to tax you per user.

Per-user pricing punishes you for having a workforce. Nova is priced per agent (the people resolving tickets), not per end user raising them. Your whole organisation gets the self-service portal at no extra cost.

No. 02

We refuse to host your data abroad.

UK public sector data belongs in the UK. All Nova customer data is stored on Microsoft Azure UK South. No cross-border transfers, no surprises, and evidence you can hand straight to your DPO.

No. 03

We refuse to need a consultant.

ITSM platforms shouldn’t take eighteen months and six-figure professional services budgets to deploy. Nova is ITIL-aligned out of the box, set up by your team, live in weeks.
